My entry for the #tribaldecor contest

Tribal Luxury

I recently got introduced to Polyvore. It is a really fun social shopping web-based community where you can create or design your sets using all sorts of products that are available in the marketplace. Polyvore often has a few design contests for which you can submit your creations.

#tribaldecor was the first home décor contest for which I submitted my set. My creation turned out to be a colorful and luxurious one featuring tribal elements from all around the world.

  • Bohemian patchwork sofa from Etsy upholstered by vintage suzani, thai hmong fabrics. surrounded by colorful pom poms.
  • Handmade Pouf from Bali with Indian-inspired detailing.
  • Peacock Wool Felt Armchair from Italy.
  • Green chandelier made of iron and glass.
  • Hand-Woven Moroccan Rug Inspired by Moroccan Wedding Blanket.
  • Pink Brocade indian Silk Sari Curtains Window Panels.
  • Anglo tribal brass wall mirror featuring a face on top and snake at the bottom.
  • Masks from Java, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • The kpanlogo drum from Ghana's Greater Accra region.
